Ceremony start times are very important to know in Jamaica. In the winter months the sun sets very early and you want to make sure you have enough time after your ceremony to get those once in a lifetime shots. After all you chose Jamaica for its beauty and it would be a shame to have all night photos because you were not made aware of the best times for your ceremony. Below is a good time line for the different months of the year.
Here is a great link to help you chose the best time for your Jamaica wedding: Jamaica Time & Date
January - March Ceremony time can start as early as 4:30 pm. We have nice temperatures during these months and very short days.
April - June Please note that Jamaica does not observe daylight savings time, and these months are generally our busiest season.
July - September As we say in Jamaica, HOT, HOT, HOT, so be kind to your guest and not have them sitting in the sun too long. July through September weddings can star around 5:00 or 5:30pm and have light available for nice photos as well as sunset photos. You and your guest will be happy you chose that time as well.
October - December Our high season, December has very short days and you might want to consider starting your ceremony around 4:30pm or 5:00pm in order to have nice lighting for photos immediately following the ceremony.
